Not sure what this guy is talking about. The stock shock towers on ALL 67-70 Mustangs could accommodate the 390-428 FE big block engines. The Boss 429 needed the shock towers modified to accommodate the heads and exhaust manifolds.

Thanks a million, Man! I just did this job. You were very bright to even mention the millimeter size sockets needed. I checked to see if I had all the sockets before beginning.Took me about 1 hour. By the way, I did not have magnitic sockets. A trick I have always used in the past, is to push a wad of PVC tape into the socket with a pocket screw driver. This holds the hex nut, so it does not fall down in to the door someplace! Very bad. Thanks again!

You need to say when removing the window controller with a flathead screwdriver, there is a metal clip at the top that needs to be pushed down to get out the assembly.

I have the same issue. After all these years there has never been a filter in place. Do you recommend cleaning the evaporator before installing a filter or just vacuuming. Not a lot of debris.

Stuff a cloth in the door panel incase one of the bolts fall it would be caught by cloth and just lay there so you can retrieve it.

Yeah, the driver side you can easily reach up there and do everything but the passenger side you have the muffler in the way so unless all you people have a little girly arms then yeah it’s possible but I can’t get my arm up there

My 2002 doesn't have a clip. There seems to be a rubber plug that's locked into a metal retainer that holds the bucket in place. further, there's yet another rubber plug holding it all together. I can't access any of it because the bucket will not open enough for me to get any tool in there! No love here.
